Montana State University’s Applied Quantum CORE (QCORE), supported by the Air Force
Research Laboratory, advances quantum technology from concept to market. The program
spans research, economic development, and education/workforce development—led by MSU’s
Science Math Resource Center—which engages youth, educators, and communities in quantum
concepts and careers through pathways, internships, and new training programs at all
levels.
Sharing your STEM Story Workshop October 14
This weeklong experience (June 16–20) at MSU Bozeman is a hands-on quantum science
academy for high school students and teachers.
A self-paced training program for pre-service teachers to explore quantum science
and technologies.
On April 14, SMRC marked World Quantum Day by hosting events and sending classroom
kits to over 60 Montana educators.
Five of Montana’s two-year and Tribal colleges are gaining hands-on quantum experiences,
career resources, and optics teaching training.
Introduces Montana middle school girls to quantum science through hands-on STEM activities,
career exploration, and mentorship.
Quantum FAQs and downloadable copies of reports packed with quantum education and
workforce development information.
