The Dean's Student Travel Fund

The Dean’s Student Travel Fund program provides grants for undergraduates and graduate students to present original research, papers, or posters at professional and academic conferences.

Commencement

Each year, MSU holds a fall commencement ceremony in December and spring commencement ceremonies in May. The College of Letters & Science also hosts a college commencement celebration.

 

College of Letters & Science Student Awards

Each spring the College recognizes two graduating seniors with the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence and two graduate teaching assistants with the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award.

Kopriva Graduate Student Fellowships

Kopriva Graduate Student Fellowships are awarded to outstanding graduate students to enhance their research thesis, including travel to meetings or for instruction, books, supplies and special research services.

Professional Portraits

Professional portraits for graduate students are available free of charge from University Communications. Portraits are taken on Monday mornings at the Nopper Building, 920 Technology Blvd.
