The Office of International Programs (OIP) at Montana State University (MSU) is excited to welcome you to Bozeman! Below are the details of our complimentary airport pickup service: 

  • WHERE:Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN)
  • WHEN:  Wednesday, January 7, 2026 - Sunday, January 11, 2026
  • HOW: The OIP team will coordinate individual and group pick-ups based on your requested pick-up times.
    • Upon arrival in Bozeman, an OIP representative will pick you up near Baggage Claim with a sign, identifying themselves as an OIP team member.
    • We will drive you to your residence hall in a Montana State University "Office of International Programs" vehicle.

The Spring 2026 airport pickup request form is below.

To request airport pickup, please complete the form below as soon as possible upon confirmation of your travel arrangements. Please know that if you do not submit this form at least one week before your anticipated arrival, we may not be able to accommodate your request. 

The compulsory, in-person, International Student Orientation session (for degree-seeking students), coordinated by the Office of International Programs, is on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Please ensure that you arrive in Bozeman no later than Friday, January 9, 2026, if you are an F-1 degree seeking international student.

(The residence halls will officially open for the Spring 2026 semester on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 12pm. Students who plan to live on campus, who wish to arrive and move in before January 11, 2026, are required to complete an 'Early Move In Request' via the MSU Housing portal; students are responsible for paying early move-in fees. The earliest date a student can move into campus housing is Wednesday, January 7, 2026.)

Exchange Students (non-degree, visiting students) must arrive no later than Sunday, January 11, 2026, to  attend the mandatory incoming exchange student orientation scheduled for Monday, January 12, 2026.
