- Attend the monthly Lessons in Leadership series, whose speakers will provide important insight and context on understanding the complexity and opportunities
of the world andwill awaken your natural creativity and leadership and communication skills.
- Participate in the Bobcat Mentoring Program, which is designed specifically to connect students with outstanding MSU Alumni, employer
and industry partners ready to share their stories, networks, and experiences to fast-track
students to the possibilities of their future and allow them to network.
- Attend a variety of social and learning opportunities with fellow Montana’s Own scholars
to provide support and network.
- Meet with Career, Internship & Student Employment Services, whichprovides opportunities for students to develop skills and strategies to identify their
purpose and passion to design a professional career path. Depending on your needs,
you will:
- Meet one-on-one with a Career Coach to identify student employment if needed and develop
skills through resume critiques and practice interviews.
- Meet one-on-one with a Success Coach to refine your habits through time management,
note taking, choice architecture, and learning management.
- Meet with the Office of Financial Education, which develops responsible, financially literate, and independent students so they
can define and achieve their life goals. Depending on your needs you can attend workshops
or meet one-on-one with a Financial Coach to understand your student loans and debt,
learn how to build a budget, and determine your savings goals and future investing
and retirement.
