Discussion of review process for Outreach Award nominations

Criteria: https://www.montana.edu/provost/faculty/awards/info/outreach_award.html  

We received ten nominations. Notification and request for materials will be sent to nominees this week.   

Deadline for receipt of materials is end of day Tuesday December 2, 2025. 

All materials and scoring criteria will be forwarded to council members on December 3. 

Council will review scores at our next meeting on December 9 (Hansen and Stone not available). 

Ranked list of recommendations to Provost by Jan 2. 

Reminder that all nominations and recommendations are confidential.  

Awards will be given at the Founders Day event on February 17, 2026.

Jonah Metz shared his discussions with ASMSU regarding possibilities for ASMSU ideas for seed grants.
