Course Description*Formerly M145Q*Course Description: Designed to help liberal arts students develop quantitative reasoning skills they will need for college, career, and life. Will also provide students with the skills required to understand and interpret quantitative information that they encounter in the news and in their studies, and to make numericallybased decision in their lives. Topics include working with large numbers and units, linear and exponential relations, financial mathematics, essentials of probability and statistics, and basic geometry.
