Resilient

Dr. Brock LaMeres founded resilient computing in 2020 to commercialize edge computing technologies developed at MSU.  The first technology licensed from MSU in 2020 was a space computer called RadPC that can reliably operate in the presence of space radiation.  Later, Drs. LaMeres and Izurieta created a cybersecurity later called CyberShield that integrates malware detection through the use of obfuscated instruction codes in the functionally equivalent processors.  This was licensed to Resilient Computing in 2022.  Resilient Computing has received funding from NASA, the Special Operations Command (SOCOM), and the state of Montana to advance these technologies into a commercially-viable form.  Resilient Computing is currently funding multiple research projects at MSU to help develop these technologies.
