Montana 10’s benefits can be summarized into three principal supports: Financial Support, Academic Momentum and Purpose and Belonging. Below, learn more about Montana 10's Academic Momentum support.

Academic Coaching

Montana10 scholars will have access to their own cohort’s academic coaches. Montana10 academic coaches meet with scholars on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to help scholars take ownership of their semester goals, offer weekly encouragement, teach time-management skills, test-prep skills and more. 

Full Time Schedule

Montana 10 students are encouraged to enroll in and maintain at least 15-credits per semester, a full-time schedule. Montana 10 advisors will assist each scholar during their participation in the program to build a schedule of 15-credits per semester which helps ensure on-time graduation over 4-years. Some students may choose to take summer classes to help complete 30 credits in an academic year. 

Corequisite Math and Writing 

The Montana 10 advisors assist scholars' to feel confident about their first-year Math and Writing placement to ensure on-time graduation in a four-year track.
